#1: Fresh Pond Dog Park - A well known favorite in the Boston community, this beautiful park is located in Cambridge, MA. With designated off-leash zones, scenic trails and even ponds for the aquatic leaning pups to utilize, this park truly has everything!
#2: Gaudet Park - Located on Aquidneck Island in a town right next to Newport, Gaudet is not only fully fenced, but also offers specific areas for different sized doggos! Another amenity that makes this park truly unique is the agility equipment to keep even the most energetic dogs fully entertained. And when you’re done, who says you can’t take the long way home to see some of those iconic Newport views with the windows down?!
#3: Colt State Park - Only 25 mins away from Gaudet, the next dog park on our list is located in Bristol RI. Offering scenic views of the Narragansett bridge and well-maintained trails, the only (potential) downside of this park is that pups need to remain leashed. Still, this park is so beautiful and has big picnic potential, so don’t forget to bring lunch and some travel bowls for Fido!
#4: Woofstock Dog Park - Situated in Bozrah, CT, this park is jam-packed with something for every pup! Ample seating areas, separate places for dogs of every size, agility equipment and gorgeously maintained grounds - no matter how far the drive, your dog will be sleeping on the way home because of how much fun they’ll have here!
#5: Quarry Run Dog Park - A tried and true Portland dog community favorite, this Maine park boasts views of the Portland skyline and the quiet Fore River. Trails of varying terrain, expansive off-leash areas and even a facebook group to plan get-togethers, this park is right off 95N and definitely needs to be on the top of your list!
#6: South Burlington Dog Park - This is one you may want to save for a fall excursion because it’s located in the heart of foliage country, aka Northern VT. Off-leash areas for big and small pups, the foliage alone will keep you coming back to this gorgeous dog park!
If you don’t have the time to hit these parks up just yet, no worries! I will come walk your pup and leave them almost as exhausted as if they did go, and you can save these for another day.
